Me and my husband are planning a 2nd wedding for our 10th wedding anniversary. We should have about $3500-$4500 to play with. When I found out that I was expecting twins, that ruled out going to Vegas or Pigeon Forge, TN. We’ve thought about the mountains, but that require a lot more effort then I’m willing to put in. Our plans are to stay local, and have a second wedding, but we’re not sure what we want to do. Anyone have any ideas? I’m open to suggestions, opinions or ideas. Please no rude answers, thank you.

By definition, you cannot have a wedding if you are already married. It sounds like what you are thinking of is a vow renewal, which people sometimes do on milestone anniversaries or after resolving marriage issues.

Having a vow renewal is not an excuse to have a full wedding redo - that would just be inappropriate. Vow renewals are usually pretty low key, with close family and friends or just the couple themselves.

Just like with any other get together, if you invite guests you should have some sort of refreshments. Whether it is cake and punch or a full meal is up to you.
