I am just starting so need a detailed book! Every detail and maybe even honey moon details!
THANKS
And I have decided to get a wedding planner helper! (just from ebay) With check lists and things to write in! and you can put business cards in some etc. I love it!!
NONE
They are all dated by the minute as trends and costumes are ever changing. Do not waste your money.
I suggest you sign up to www.theknot.com. They have up to date information, tips, ideas, budgeter, etiquette etc. etc. Everything that you need is there and is free.
If you really want a book, go to the library and check one out, you will see how dated those things are.
Good luck
I am looking into purchasing a Wedding Planner. But there are SO many! If anyone has had experience with any certain one, or can just recommend one for me, that’d be great. Links are appreciated as well (preferably to the certain one on amazon.com)
I have three suggestions, that I’ve personally used before. (as a maid of honour each time) I liked them all, they each offered their own pros and cons.

http://www.amazon.com/Bridal-Bargains-Wedding-Planner-Planning/dp/1889392308/ref=pd_sim_b_2
http://www.amazon.com/Wedding-Small-Budget-Planner-Organizer/dp/0898795303/ref=sr_1_52?s=STORE&ie=UTF8&qid=1281751017&sr=1-52
Each of them proved to be really useful in keeping track of things and keeping things on budget, and on time.
I want something that will be mailed to me, not that I print off. I wasn’t sure if there even was such a possible thing. Hence asking the question here.
Sometimes when you set up your registry the store will have freebies, including a planner.
For my planner I just used a calender/notebook combo I bought at Staples, I think it was like $6. There was a section with a calendar (and weekly pages too), a section for phone numbers, 3 blank sections, and 2 pockets. I practically slept with it.
I recently got engaged and I am starting to plan my engagement party. I’ve been looking at Wedding planning books and such but I would prefer to make my own. I’ve been googling "free wedding planner templates" and stuff like that but I haven’t really found anything worth using. Any ideas?
Thanks, MJ
Hey I know few links which help you alot in this situation:
I just got engaged this weekend and would like to purchase a Wedding planner book that will also be something I can keep afterward for memories. Does anyone have or know of a really good one? Any other books or websites you find helpful are also verrrry much appreciated
The Knot or Brides.com are great online planning sites and both are free of charge. The Knot used to provide a free hard-cover wedding planner to all "knotties" but not sure if they still do this. Amazon has a plethora of planners - I’d advise you to select one that is a three-ring binder and has plastic sleeves that you can easily add/remove pages and have places to keep tear-sheets from magazines and print outs from websites of dresses, flowers, hairstyles, etc organized.
Congratulations on your recent engagement from everyone here at Robbins Brothers!
does anyone know the series the wedding planners daughter? well, i want to know the book that comes after forget me not in the series. thank you!!!!!!!!!!
The next book is "Wish I Might".
And, just so you know, "Forget Me Not" and "Wish I Might" are actually part of a different series that branched off of the Wedding Planners Daughter series. The series is called "From the Life of Willa Havisham".
Good luck finding the book!
Anyone have a Wedding planner book that they think actually helped, and is good? I’ve looked on Amazon and don’t know which one to buy!
I did, and I found them all dated. I gave mine away. I suggest you go to your local library and check some out before deciding to buy anything.
After being frustrated with dated books and unhelpful magazines; I found all my information, updated and current with fashion and trends in:
www.theknot.com
It is free. It has budget, time limes, reminders, pictures, examples, everything. It also gave me the option to a free wedding website and even e-save the dates.
Good luck

I suggest using the Knot. Check out their Wedding checklist and budget calculator, on the left under "planning tools."
Best of all, it is free.
I am 24 I am getting married next year I was wondering does anyone no where I can get any wedding planning stuff! You know like wedding guide books, Wedding planner books free anyone help please!
theknot.com, weddingwire.com, the Martha Stewart wedding website, snippetandink.blogspot.com, offbeatbride.com and indiebride.com are very good free websites that are quite helpful with wedding planning.
I didn’t need any magazines or planning books during my engagement. The magazines are basically just advertisements for wedding gowns and useless products. You can easily use a regular binder or a small notebook for keeping track of your lists and plans. Don’t waste your money on these things .. rely on the free websites and use a binder/notebook and a folder to make notes and hold onto your contracts and receipts.
What should a bride to be look for in a good wedding photographer?  What are some of the wedding photography must haves that no bride should over look?  How many photos should be purchased and what kind of package should be preferred over others when choosing wedding photography?  Are there certain photos that can be skipped over in favor of others when choosing wedding photography?
These questions, and many more, are what contributes to a brideâ??s frazzled mind just months before the wedding.  So often, there are no clear guidelines as to what kind of wedding photography a couple should be looking for, so the bride and groom are forced to trust their wedding photographer and hope theyâ??re not going to be missing anything when it comes to their wedding photography.
The good news is, there is hope for couples looking to get the best wedding photography for their money.  It is called a wedding photography checklist and you can find it in all kinds of sources, from books, to online, to bride and wedding magazines.
If you chose not to hire a wedding planner, you or someone close to you probably picked up a wedding planning book.  These books are fabulous tools to help you effectively plan every aspect of your wedding, including photography.  A Wedding planner book has each part of a wedding divided into sections by when you should hire your experts or choose things like flowers, cake and photographers.  You will find that each one of these sections is filled with helpful tools and spaces for notes.  Under the wedding photography section, not only will you find solid guidelines for when to reserve a wedding photographer, but will also offer you a great wedding photography checklist that will help to guide you through the selecting of your wedding photographer to the choosing of a wedding photography package that fits your budget.
If you are working with a wedding planner, you will probably find that they offer a selection of wedding photographers who they frequently work with.  Wedding planners also offer their own planning guides to choosing a wedding photographer, including a checklist of what you should look for in your wedding photography.
Bride and wedding magazines are a great source for wedding photography tips, as they usually can give more in depth information about one subject because itâ??s a featured article.  These magazines can draw on the experience of many different experts before compiling their checklists and itâ??s no different with their wedding photography checklists.  These are usually very in depth and very informative, while also covering trends and classic wedding photography techniques all at the same time.
When choosing a wedding photographer for your special day, it is very important to not only know what youâ??re looking for, but in the interest of staying organized, as with all other parts of planning your wedding, you should be using some kind of wedding photography checklist. The difference is in the details and you will want to make sure to have all your details covered.
