I need to find a really good checklist and timeline as I’m getting married end of next year but I can’t find one that I like. Does anyone know of one that was helpful for them? Thanks so much!
Are you Australian? http://www.easyweddings.com.au has a great checklist that is broken down into dates leading up to your wedding so you know what you should be doing when. I love it. I think it’s better to find a checklist in your own country as sometimes there are traditions you might do in America that we don’t do in Australia.
getting married in spring. I like being organized so I need to do everything myself, setting up tables, decoration, all of that. I need like a checklist kind of tool.
You are going to be WAY too busy to do everything yourself…you need to hire someone.
Theknot.com has checklists.
I’m Asian and my boyfriend is white. I’ve never been to an American wedding and I’m not familiar with it at all. I found this checklist online and for the rehearsal dinner, it says to bring gifts to be handed out during dinner.
What does it mean by gifts? Who are the gifts for? And what is the rehearsal dinner about?
Also, are there any good sites/magazines that would help explain the whole process for me?
A good idea for wedding party gifts is to have momentos personalized for each member of the wedding party by having their names engraved onto picture frames, jewelry boxes, keychains, pocket watches, beer steins, etc. A really good place for these gifts is a store called Things Remembered. They’re online too. The important thing to know when handing out these gifts is that they should all be similar in price and in thoughtfulness; no one person should receive a gift that is much nicer or more special than anyone else’s.
I am getting married in November and I have no real Idea how to plan a wedding. I need a basic checklist of everything I need to do to plan a wedding. No I can not afford a wedding planner and we’re keeping the wedding cheap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Use the Wedding checklist and budget calculator at the Knot. See them on the left, under "planning tools."
You may not want or need everything mentioned at the Knot, but it is a good place to start.

ok ive been looking around yahoo answers for a wedding check list and i just keep finding "timed checklist" ie 3 months-do this and 2 weeks before-do that. Im not looking for this kind of check list. Im looking for a checklist that will help me check off everything that goes in a wedding
bridesmaid dresses
cake
food
flowers for ect ect
wedding dress
DJ
food
That kind of list. Im not getting married for like 2 years so i have plenty of time to plan. Im trying to set up an excel spreadsheet so me and my guy can sit down and work on a budget. Any help?

After one false start - and several months of preparation - it’s W-Day! T’was a wonderfully stressfull morning: the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the suppliers were arriving, the photogs were shooting, checklists were getting checked, and the priest was on his way from Quezon province.
