I want one where I can "check" the items off as I finish them.
Thanks In Advance

It’s wonderful
I am a professional photographer and will be shooting my first wedding in August. What are some questions that I should ask the bride and groom that will help me on their wedding day to be more organized? Any of you pros also and have some sort of "checklist" that you go by for consultation? Any tips and advice on how to be better organized so that things will flow better that day?
I am a pro wedding and social photographer

We are planning an Indian wedding with 4 months of preparation time and we really need a checklist and a budget template. This is for a traditional Indian Hindu punjab wedding. Any links or lists are appreciated. The more detailed the better.
don’t know what to suggest concerning a budget sheet except to make one of your own because i couldn’t find anything online….but here are a couple of sites to help you with the details of what you need to do and plan for.

I need something to tell me when I should be completing things by. As my date is 18 months away, I would like one that starts about this time. Something I could print too.
Thanks in advance!
Actually, I don’t know what I need. That’s why I need the checklist.
I would use the Knot (theknot.com). They have a comprehensive list of things to check and complete, month by month and week by week. I believe it is printable as well. I used it for my wedding to keep myself on track.
I also used their guest list and budget tool.
I’m just getting started on making my own wedding invitations and this is what I’ve planned to include thus-far:
* "Announcement" with our names, date, place and time.
* Response Card with pre-addressed and pre-stamped envelope (This also includes dinner choices for each guest to indicate their what they’d like)
* A card with a map and directions. Here I have also stated "We have reserved a room for you at ________. To confirm you would like to stay with us please email _____________ before December 1st for information." SIDENOTE: We have reserved an entire Inn for our guests but cannot pay for everyone’s room. Once they email us I will ask them to send me a check for their room. Kinda tacky but I’m 100% sure my family and friends will understand.
Am I forgetting anything? Thanks in advance.
I believe you mean "invitation" rather than "announcement." Announcement is saying you were married, or will be married. Invitation is telling them they are welcome to join you at the event. Regardless, yes you need this.
Response card is quite normal as well.
Generally there is a reception card. "Reception (immediately) following at XYZ Hotel Ballroom" and whatever other information.
HOWEVER you are saying you already reserved a room for them? That kind of doesn’t give them the chance to say no. Not to mention that it sounds like the room has been booked and paid for by you.
I won’t tell you how wrong and potentially rude this part is - these are your family and friends and you know them better than I. I will, however, give you a better choice of wording:
"A block of rooms has been set aside at XYZ Hotel. Please call or email NUMBER or E-ADDRESS to confirm your room before December 1st.
Honestly, unless you were my very best friend or sister, (yeah, only two people who I would do this for) there’s no way in heck I’d send YOU a check or reimbursement of any kind for booking a room I never asked for. I would be horribly offended and definitely searching around for my own accommodations if yours was a "must attend" wedding (close family or friend).
I’m 2 weeks away and I really need some confirmation I’m not forgetting anything… please take the time to read!

I feel like I’m forgetting to do something now that I’m not spending every moment of spare time planning and organizing and such… it could just be the normal paranoia that I’m missing something because I’ve devoted so much time to it, but I could really use the reassurance…
Just in case I’ve covered other things and forgotten to list them I’ll add "Extra Details" as needed
THANK YOU!!
I forgot - I’m not wearing a tiara, veil, etc. and I have all other accessories picked out and purchased
You’re list looks quite thourough. I would recommend so you don’t forget anything to get an inexpensive organizer that will keep things in order for you. That way you make sure people get paid when they are due and you don’t forget to get something done because you have so much on your plate.

A good friend of mine used this planner and her wedding was beautiful. She is a pediatrician with her own practice, so she didn’t have much time to plan but wanted to make sure nothing was left out. So she did a lot of research online and kept it all organized with this planner. Good luck! I hope your day is a dream come true!
Whatâ??s the best way for a man to make a lasting impression on a woman? Recent consumer research shows that the answer to making a memorable impact is right under his noseâ?? through flowers. In fact, the study shows that 92% of women can remember the last time they received flowers, and 89% say receiving flowers makes them feel special.
Giving great floral gifts, however, still remains a mystery to most men. To help them out, author and TV host Rebecca Cole provides guidance on giving females flowers.
â??Flowers are a sensual gift that can express any emotion so simply â?? with just a little knowledge and a phone call to the florist.â?
Cole offers advice to guys on:
How to send just the right message to the woman in his life â?? a new girlfriend, that special someone, Mom or a good friend.
- The New Thing. This emotion may be the most difficult for a man to express, so Cole provides style advice for the guy who wants to show his new romantic interest exactly how he feels. â??A passionate arrangement is filled with hot pinks, oranges, reds and golds. Add a thoughtful card to help communicate just the right sentiment,â? says Cole.
- The Real Deal. Flowers are intimately â?? and internationally â?? linked with the art of romance, and for good reason says Cole. â??As relationships grow, flowers become symbols of different events and milestones in our lives together. Take note of her favorite flowers â?? the varieties at your wedding, flowers you sent her when you first started dating or the ones she buys for herself. Those will have great meaning and impact.â?
- Leading Ladies. â??No woman â?? especially moms, grandmas and sisters â?? should live without a little TLC,â? says Cole. A fabulous flowering plant or a garden-style arrangement with greens and soft pastel hues â?? no matter what the flower â?? will send the message that you care.
- The Gal Pal. â??Flowers that show youâ??re thinking of someone, but not in a sensual way, have anatural, just-picked feeling,â? says Cole. She advises to ask for a selection of garden-style flowers or a bright bold color palette that is fun and whimsical. A basket with a mix of flowering and green plants delivered to her door or office is also a sure fire winner.
What are the three top design styles that men can ask for with confidence:
Research shows that 96% of women like to receive flowers when theyâ??re not expecting them. â??Guys should know that they donâ??t have to wait for a special occasion to give flowers,â? Cole says. â??Make an occasion by sending flowers to the woman in your life, just because. Theyâ??ll never forget it.â?
Cole offers advice for men willing to try something trendy. She suggests these three top design styles that men can ask for with confidence:
- Monobotanic. Arrangements featuring only one type of flower (such as all roses, tulips, lilies or iris) are in style and may even include different colors of the same flower in the vase or container.
- Monochromatic. Pick a color, any color and stick with it! If her favorite color is pink, for example, ask your florist for a fresh bouquet of different flowers in the same color range.
- Bunches of Texture. Ask your florist to select complementary flowers of various textures to place in bunches in an elegant glass container. This unique look has a bold, contemporary feel and will surely provide the â??wowâ? factor.
- Need to find a florist? Check Online Florist in your area or just search on internet.
- Donâ??t know what to say on the card? Check for Creative quotes messages for every occasion.Â
A Guyâ??s Checklist of Things to Remember
- Be Spontaneous. You donâ??t have to wait for a special occasion to give flowers. In fact, most women say â??no reasonâ? is the best reason to get flowers.
- Size Doesnâ??t Matter. Trust your florist to help you send an arrangement that is appropriate for the occasion. Bouquets both big and small can make a bold statement. Itâ??s the sentiment that makes the impact.
- Score Big Points. Surprise her by sending a bouquet to her office, and see how much attention youâ??ll get because of the attention she got.
- Relax. Flowers donâ??t have to mean commitment. Women know when an arrangement simply means that you care.
â??The most important thing to remember is that you simply cannot go wrong with flowers,â? said Cole. â??Your florist is there to help, but youâ??ll get all the credit.â?

There is a category of coins called bullion coins. These are high value coins. Not only do their supply is limited, they originate in special places such as shipwrecks, sunk ships found at the sea-bed, or from excavation sites where signs of some past habitation has been discovered, etc. There are people who collect such precious coins. Here we describe bullion categories based on the metals and each metal you have sub-categories.
1. Silver Bullion
Silver coins are among the best known bullion coins. They are quite popular and belong to the category of expensive collectible items. Internet has many sites selling them online along with other expensive items.
Another high priced coin popularly showcased on online websites is the silver ingot. It is believed to have been recovered froma treasure wreck such as the sunk Spanish ship, Atocha which contained treasure and artifacts; silver ingots were found among them. Another theory is that they came from some dilapidated Colorado Mines where miners had hidden them.
The officially sealed Maple Leaf silver coins, from the Royal Canadian Mint, are also fashionable among coin collectors. Then you have half dollars featuring the Walking Liberty, or a dealer roll of first strike 1994 American Eagles, besides Masterpieces from Franklin Mint.
2. Gold Bullian
For people who collect gold bullion, there are well known gold coins known as Krugerrands from South Africa. Among other popular options you have the European Gold Crowns of the period between late 1800s to early 1900s, the Canadian Maple Leaf gold coins and the American Eagle coins. You may also want to go for British sovereigns, Swiss Helveteas, or the French Roosters. These are available on Internet.
Also available online are 10-ounce Swiss gold bar, American eagle proof set and the China Gold Panda set. You can also look for gold bullion in the American Eagle, Rounds, Bars, Mixed Lots and in other categories of coins on the Internet.
3. Platinum Bullion
This is the least common form of bullion compared to the other two. Notable platinum bullion comes in Eagle sets, the French Statue of Liberty coins and Koala proofs. Recently, some safety vaults of the collapsed World Trade Center have yielded a crucible dish made from platinum bullions, an Engelhard platinum bar, and the Johnson Matthew Year of the Dragon coins.
4. Bullion as Special Gift
If you wish your bullion collection can provide thoughtful gifts for spaecial occasions like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc. for your dear ones. For example, a bullion bar can be a unique birthday gift if it features a happy birthday greetings. Likewise, say for a wedding anniversary, you may select bullion featuring the wedding year. A bride may expect 24-karat gold or silver flakes as her wedding gift from her groom.
How to buy bullion coins
Buying bullion coins can be highly expensive. Here is a check-list of what to do when buying bullion coins:
1. Decide on what type of bullion you want to buy beforehand.
2. Try finding out the preference of the person for who you want to buy and ask if he/she can accompany you for purchase.
3. Find out the delivery cost and estimate the total cost.
4. Ensure that the seller will deliver in time, particularly while ordering online.
5. Don’t make instant payments.
6. Investigate the seller’s background and his reputation.
No doubt bullion coins are expensive, but they can be used beautifully to express intimate sentiments on special occasions in one’s life. No other form of gift can do that so beautifully.

As you begin planning for your ceremony, there are several things to consider like atmosphere, vision, space, ambience, formal or traditional and so many more.  Here are some considerations to think about:
Do you want a formal church, traditional, elegant, or casual ceremony? The size, space, and number of guests should give you an idea of how much volume you will need. This will also help you select the right size group, and the type of instruments you may want for your ceremony.  It will also help you to determine the amount of amplification you may need. In a cathedral, a pipe organ could sound awesome, but a string trio would be lost in that amount of space.  What are your favorite types of instruments? Do you like strings, violins, horns, flutes or trumpets? What genre of music do you want at your ceremony? modern, classical, contemporary?  As you plan your ceremony, here is a checklist of items/questions to help you plan and organize the event:
Have you selected background music for the arrival before the ceremony?
Have you created the lineup with first and last names of the bridal party?
Will there be a Ring Bearer and/or Flower girl?
Will there be a Unity Candle?
Are you planning a Sand or Rose Ceremony?
Have you selected a song for the recessional?
Will the Officiate make any closing announcements (photoâ??s, reception location?)
Will there be any special music during the ceremony?
Have you decided on the seating order for the immediate family?
Have you selected a song for the seating of the mothers/grandmothers?
Will the bride be escorted by her Father? someone else?
Have you selected a song for the bridal processional?
Will anyone besides the Officiate be offering a special reading? Who?
Any special music to be performed during the ceremony?
If so, prerecorded or live?
Do you have someone designated to run sound during your ceremony?
Have you provided contact information and music selections to performers, if applicable?
Do you need ceremony sound reinforcement from your DJ or Band?
Have you created a program?
There are so many considerations to think about as you plan your wedding ceremony.  We have developed a complimentary ceremony and reception planning guide to help you through the process and personalize your ceremony for you. It is available to anyone asks for it, and contains more than 50 pages of planning ideas for your ceremony and reception. If you would like a copy, email us.    Â
